    Do you have sales experience? Here’s your chance to take your career to the next level as an Account Manager! This position works closely with the National Director of Sales and Business Development, and the successful candidate will cover the Ontario region as well as Montreal and surrounding areas.
  • Responsibilities

    Business Development
    • Researches and prospect new clients, as well as identify new opportunities with existing clients, in collaboration with the broker, within the assigned territories;
    • Monitors the competitive landscape within the assigned territory, staying up-to-date on new products, standards, trends, and regulations;
    • Participates in promotional events and engages with business communities to ensure the company’s representation and visibility;
    • Participates in various food trade shows;
    • Visits various grocery store chains to develop the brand, in collaboration with the broker;
    • Organizes product tastings at various points of sale, in collaboration with the broker;
    • Maintains a presence in the Ontario territory as well as Montreal and surrounding areas;
    Client Management
    • Plans and documents client meeting follow-ups using the CRM tool;
    • Ensures the execution of marketing initiatives with the support of the broker;
    • Leads training and coaching sessions with our brokers;
    • Manages renewals and rebates for our HRI clients and distributors;
    • Manages client complaints and ensures proper follow-up;
    Collaboration
    • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (retail, HRI, and distributors);
    • Recommends to the Sales Director changes that can help exceed business development objectives;
    • Performs any other related duties;
  • What we are looking for

    • Have relevant experience in sales
    • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a car (travel expenses reimbursed)

    • Advanced English skills, both spoken and written, to communicate with clients (approximately 30% of working time)
    Assets:
    • Knowledge of CRM software and other sales tools
    • Sales experience in the food industry
    • Knowledge of the Ontario market
